It needs a title. o 3 o
(Feliciano's point of view.)

Louise and I got into a fight. That was how I go into my current situation:
Staying at Romano's, afraid that Louise would hate me forever.
And as I sat at the kitchen table after dinner (which I did not eat, much to Romano's dislike), I covered my face with my hands and slumped in my seat. Romano finished the dishes, and in all honestly, it really seemed like he was worried about me.
'Hey, fratello." He said, pulling a chair up, facing me. "You alright?"

No! Of course I wasn't. I got into a fight with the one girl I'd ever loved enough to tell her and mean it! For all I knew, she hated me! How could I be fine?!
"....Si. I'm fine." I mumbled.
Not convincing enough for my brother.
"Cmon. We're gonna get your mind off of...Louise. For a while."
Wait, did he just refer to her by her real name?

"N...No, Romano. I kinda just... wanna be alone right now."
Lies! I wanted to be with Louise right now!
But who knows where she was. She was most likely off having fun, without me, with her friends or her brother. She didn't need me. She'd said so.
How about I take you back to what happened?

I stood in front of Louise, whose face was a bright red colour. But this time it wasn't because she was embarrassed or flustered; she was angry. Angry enough to scream at me.
“Get out!” She shrieked, “You've been on my nerves for too long!”

“Louise,” I tried reasoning. “Louise, tell me just what I did wrong. I'll fix it, I promi-”
I was cut off by her yelling. “Everything! You do everything wrong! I don't need your help, I don't need you around! Just get out of my house and never come by again!”

I was stunned, to say the least. I wanted to reach forward, to hug her, to comfort her. But I knew she'd hit me, push me back, and yell at me. So I turned around, rubbing my eyes. I wasn't going to cry. Not in front of her. My legs almost moved without my telling them to. They headed to the door, I opened it, and left.

And went to my brother's.

Back in the present, I stood up groggily. “Fratello, I'm going out for a bit. I'll be back later. I just need to... to be alone...”
I slowly headed towards the door, but Romano pushed in front of me, showing my cell into my hands. “The least you can do is take your phone. If you get into any trouble, call me.”
I nodded, and continued on my way out.

I walked down to the main street, where I began to search for a place to go. I saw bookstores, bars, and restaurants on the block I was on. I saw one restaurant I liked, “Andiamo”. It was a quaint little place, somewhere Louise and I would go on dates. I smiled sadly, and walked towards it. It was the same as when we had been there on our last date. Three days ago, actually.
The place never changed.
If there was a place to dwell on my thoughts of Louise, this was it.

I'd made my way through the small group of people near the door. It was a seat-yourself kind of a thing, so I stepped over to a lone booth where I could simply be alone.

The waitress was pretty, I noted. She stepped forward and handed me a menu. She must have been new. I always was recognized here. I couldn't help but notice how blue her eyes were... just like Louise's.
I caught myself staring, then looked down to my menu as if deciding. “I-I'll just get some red wine to drink, for now.” I muttered, embarrassed.
Why did her eyes have to be the same colour? Of course, I could tell that they were far from Louise's eyes, anyways.
Louise's eyes were always so full of care, even when she tried her hardest to be strict with me and Japan. Except when we had that fight.
Oh, well.
The waitress ran off to get my glass.

I glanced around the room. This place had a bar in the middle. It was a popular place for that reason. I scanned the people in the building. A few waiters and waitresses. A couple at one of the bar, sharing some drinks. A few singular people like me, and a large group.

One person looked too familiar. Although I could only see their back.
Blond hair, blue-green military jacket. No, wait. That jacket was blue... hey, that's my coat!
It even had the pasta stain from the night before on it! Right there on the sleeve! What would someone be doing with my coat?!

I stood up, and heard the person whimper and hide her face in the sleeves.
Louise? Was my first thought. Oh, no. Why was she here? I'd better leave, right?
I was about to. To leave my money on the table and simply leave.
Then I saw another guy walking over to Louise, who was now hopelessly drunk. I'd learned she had a tendency to do that when she was upset.

He was hitting on her. Hitting on my Louise! My Louise, my lovely, sweet, wonderful Louise!
I marched forward, straighter and taller than I had ever done in training.
“Sir, please, move away. I don't think she's interested in you.” I said, not meeting his eyes.
He leaned down, and I could tell he was another Italian. I knew all my citizens well enough, somehow. Kind of like acquaintances... except they didn't know me.
“And, how can you tell?” He spat.

I pointed to the coat on her shoulders. “My coat. My girlfriend. You're not allowed to hit on her like that.” I stated.
He backed off a bit. “Then why are you not with her?”
“We got into a bit of a fight last night. I'm going to solve things.”

He left.

Must've just been something to get me to go to Louise and talk to her. You know, fate, destiny, and all that crap?
Well, if she would talk.
She was nearly passed out, and barely heard a word of the conversation.

I prodded her shoulder, which caused her to mumble.
"Hey, Lou. C'mon, wake up."
"Lemme sleep... jerk...."

Did she know it was me, or something?

"I don't... even know you.... go away..."

Nope.

I sighed, and leaned down. "Louise, it's me, Feli. Your boyfriend? Now come on. You're drunk, let's get you home..."

I wasn't sure if she understood what I was saying, but she got up, and slumped onto my shoulder. I wormed my arm around her waist to help support her, and looked at the guy at the bar. He tapped the counter, indicating the bill.
"Here." I muttered, and took out my wallet. I brought out more money then was needed, to pay for the wine I had ordered earlier.
"This is to cover her bill and mine, alright?"

The guy nodded, taking my money and setting it on the counter with the bill.

I quickly lead Louise out of there, so as not to attract attention. Louise hated that.

We made it to her house in about twenty minutes. It wouldn't have taken so long, had she been sober. Can't be helped, though.

I lead Louise to her bedroom, where I set her down in her bed. She fell asleep almost immediately, much to my surprise. I thought I'd get a drunken lecture from her. Some stuff thrown at me, the usual thing when she's drunk.

Complete.

Silence.

I shrugged it off, and went to go do a few things before I left.

------
(Louise point of view.)

The first thing I noticed when I woke up was that I had a horrible headache. I had gotten drunk, I recall that. But how did I get home? Nobody else was in my bed, so it wasn't like I slept with anyone.
Yeah, my clothes were all the same as when I'd put them on the other day.
Except for Feliciano's coat, which had been buttoned up, so it fit snugly.

Sighing, I swung my legs off the bed, and they carried me to the kitchen, where there was a note on my table.

It read like this:
Louise;
I found you over at Andiamo last night. I thought it was only right to take you home.

I didn't do a thing to you, I swear it. I'd never do anything to you.

But what I did do: I made you breakfast, it's in the fridge. You just have to heat it up. I also bought you some aspirin. You were out, and I know you'd need it.
There's coffee in the pot. Just turn on the heater and it'll be warm for you.

So, I guess that's all.

-Feliciano.

I stared at the note. My heart was thudding, making my head hurt more. He'd done all that?
I turned the note over, just in case he wrote anything else.
Sure enough, in his handwriting, there were six words.

I love you.
Take me back.

I started crying. Why? I don't know! I never cried, really.
But... this was...This was different than most situations.
He'd done so much. What had I done?

I'd yelled at him, and told him that I didn't need him.
Now, I realize that I do. He was my first friend, my first kiss, my first... everything.

I grabbed the breakfast he'd made, and sure enough, it was wurst and eggs. It was something simple that wouldn't upset my stomach. (Although some people would argue wurst isn't good for your stomach... peh! )
I heated up the coffee, and the plate, and sat down to eat.
It was quiet, lonesome. I really missed him. I'd made up my mind to head over to Romano's, to see Feliciano.
Even if the elder of the brothers hated me.

Oh, the lengths I would go to for Feliciano. Of course, he may just be thinking the same thing about me.

I finished off my breakfast with a gulp of coffee and some aspirin, then headed to the garage.
Into the car, and down the street. Across town, to Romano's.

It wasn't too long of a drive, but I hated walking to his house. Every single time I had walked to his house, France was somewhere hiding in the bushes.
Of course, he usually ended up with a black eye.

I laughed at that thought and pulled into Romano's driveway. I stepped out of the car, and walked towards the door. I knocked once, twice, three times.

Romano answered. His expression wasn't one of annoyance, but it seemed to be...
Relief?

"You're here. Stupid potato. Follow me." He growled.
I did as he said, trailing behind him down the hallways.

In the living room was Feliciano.
My breath caught in my throat.
He looked up, noticing us. His amber eyes went from me to Romano, and back to me. Was he... staring?
Wait, hold that thought. His eyes were open. That was a random occurrence.

Still, he smiled and stood, and Romano shoved me forward, whispering, "Go right things with him. He's been nothing but depressing since you and him fought."
And the elder brother left me and Feliciano in the living room.

It was awkward for a few moments, until he spoke up.
"So... you got my little note?'

I nodded. "Yes, I did. It was very kind of you..." I looked away. Feliciano took his chance, standing closer to me.

"I'm sorry about being so useless. I-I just want-"
I cut him off, "You're not useless! I was upset, and I'm sorry! I shouldn't have yelled at you like that..."

Our eyes met, and he stared, stunned.
I tried to force the lump in my throat down, but to no avail.
Instead, I threw myself into his arms.
"I'm sorry!" I sobbed. "I really didn't mean it!"

Feliciano blinked, I'm sure, then rubbed my back, and I could feel his shoulders shaking, too. "I..." He broke out into a sob.
"Louise.. will you take me back?"

I took a couple breaths, steadying my voice. "Of course. I-I would never... I'd never want to leave you. I love you, Feliciano."

We stood there for a few minutes, silently basking in each other's presence.
"I love you, too, Lou." He mumbled, and took my chin in his hand.
I knew what he was getting at, and I closed my eyes as our lips met.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, silently promising to myself that I'd try my best to never yell at him again.

Then again, we're Nations. We have long lives... we're sure to get into fights.
But I vowed to myself that I would never be that angry at him ever again.

Romano barged into the room, "Break it up, you two. I don't want you two making out in my living room."

We separated, but I was still being held close to Feliciano. I smiled, leaning onto his chest.
He grinned, looking at me. "We should go home. Wanna take a siesta with me?"

I nodded. "Sounds wonderful."
