Deric gritted his teeth as the man spoke more and more unrealistic and almost incomprehensible words to him. The screams and sounds of metal in the background pumped Deric up as he prepared for another strike, but to his surprise found his nightstand coming straight for his torso. "You've got to be kidding." He muttered as he turned around and clenched the muscles in his back, the wooden furniture slamming into him and shattering on the surface of his back. Falling to his knees, he attempted to breathe, but found that all the air had been knocked from his lungs. Not to mention, he also probably had a bit of external and internal damage from the extreme force he just experienced. Immune to gunshots and physical strikes? This guy was virtually a damn tank, but he was still big, so maybe taking out his legs would help out, since he was obviously top-heavy. Standing back up he shook his head, sweat already moving down his head and onto his neck. Drawing the pistol from his holster, he put two shots into the thing's knees. Yet it didn't fall over, simply stumbled back a bit from the velocity of the gunshots. "...Damn it." He said as he looked around his room for something stronger, but knew he had no high-caliber weaponry in immediate reach. Was he to give up? This thing was almost invulnerable after all, beating it was going to require a .50 caliber round or a damn RPG. "...I concede defeat. Go ahead and take me, but if you do anything reprehensible to me, you'll have an army breathing down your back." Deric warned as he shut the iHome off and moved to his bed, putting the military bag and bookbag over his shoulders, then carrying the other two bags in his hands, nodding respectfully at the giant 'thing'.
