This is today's news...
Bad Touch Trio
Okay, I'm sitting here in history class, doing my work (the irony!) when all of a sudden I stumble upon "The War of the Austrian Succession (1740-174 cool ". Seeing as this is what we're supposed to be doing, I'm actually interested in my work! I try not to laugh as I read about Old Man Fritz sending Prussia to seize Austria's vital regions, and try not to fangirl squeal at Austria-Hungary thoughts as Hungary is mentioned. But then...

France Draws Great Britain into the War Blah blah blah boring textbook dates names date year blah blah blah.... French dude was compelled to abandon his planned naval attack on British trade and instead to support the Prussian aggression against Austria blah blah blah.

Blah Blah Second, the French move against Austria briough tGreat Britain into the continental war, as Britain sought to make sure the Low Countries remained in the friendly (sissy, if you ask me. ;D) hands of Austria, not France. In 1744, the British-French conflict expanded beyond the Continent, as France decided to support Spain against Britain in the New World... (FRANCE PRUSSIA SPAIN YAY!) blah blah blah Having chosen to continue the old struggle with Austria, France lost the struggle for the future against Great Britain... blah blah blah

^.^ I also thought it was funny that it directly referenced "English smugglers, shippers, and pirates". xDD

And then, I had to keep a straight face while putting these answers on my classwork:

2. What prompted the WAR OF THE AUSTRIAN SUCCESSION? How did Maria Theresa preserve the Hapsburg Empire?
xxxxxThe War of Austrian Succession was prompted when Prussia invaded and stole Austria’s vital regions, the province of Silesia. Maria Theresa preserved the Hapsburg Empire by granting new privileges and to the Magyars. *She also begged the people to support her while holding her baby. ^.^

3. What proved to be one of the most fateful decisions in French history, and why?
xxxxxOne of the most fateful decisions in French history was the decision to abandon his plan to attack Great Britain and instead support Prussia’s attack against Austria, who was his traditional enemy. (The decision was made by Cardinal Fleury at the push of aggressive court aristocrats)

I'm seriously turning those in. xDD;;

... YES, I HAVE NO LIFE. And now you apparently don't either because you're still here actually reading this crap. xDD
