As usual, Meg's being all Debbie Downer because she says that seventeen is way too young to be thinking of marriage, but it's sort of, um, a necessity? Because my boyfriend fiancé is human. And if he waits around for me to get to the usual marrying age, he's going to be dead! Or worse, old and gross and not hot anymore. xp I just want to marry Marcello while he's still got rock-hard abs and all his own teeth, okay? There is nothing wrong with that.
But Meg took me aside and had one of those heart-to-heart talks where she begged me to reconsider. She even brought out the old 'but what will the children be like?' argument. And I'm like, Meg, omg, that is so racist. Or species-ist, or whatever. I mean, it's 1185, Meg. It's not like when you grew up. People don't even think about those sort of things anymore.
