Extended response

Restate question: well three conflicts that the men experienced on three skeleton key are very terrifying for them because they had through tough things in there life. For example three of them are the rats getting in the lighthouse, hunger, and getting eaten by the rats.

Well one of the conflicts they had to go through is the rats getting in the lighthouse because they saw that they were very big so they had to avoid them. For example one page 44 it states “ we barley had enough time to leap back, close the door leading onto the gallery, descend the stairs, and shut every window tightly. This shows that it very dangerous and very risky for the rats to get in and this conflict was very big because the rats might eat them. I can connect to this because on day I was in my house and squirrels liked to jump out of the tree next to my house and I was so afraid one would get in. One day I accidently left the door open and a squirrel got in and I was freaking out.

They went through horrible things like hunger that was another conflict for them because I mean nobody would survive with food or some water. For example on page 48 it stated” when they understood our position how we could not get rid of the rats, Le Gleo’s mind going fast. Itchoua and myself covered with bites, cornered in the lantern room without food or water they had a signalman send us their reply. This shows that there pretty much suffering because its so awful being covered in rat bites and without food and water it may not be a conflict for us but for them. I actually can relate to this because I read something like this in a book and it was actually pretty interesting reading something like this again.

Lastly, they had to face a big conflict and it was getting eaten by rats. I mean who would like this nobody because nobody wants to get eaten by a rat almost the size of a human. For example on page 43 it stated” no, these were ship’s rats, huge, wise creatures, born on the sea, sailing all over the world on ships, transferring to other, lager ships as they multiply. “ This shows that these rats were huge and probably hungry as well and I mean the rats would look at these men like food and the rats would probably just eat them. I can connect to this because there’s real rats they may not be huge but there’s rats that eat your food and I actually experienced this because one day there, was like a rat in my house that ate my food. I was super scared until one day my dad trapped it and I was so relived.

In conclusion, these are some conflicts that the men experienced and probably traumatized them for their rest of their lives. They were sure scared wouldn’t you be? I mean I’m sure I would be because its just awful experiencing rats getting in the lighthouse, starving, and getting eaten by rats.
