Here is how the book club works, I gather up the book suggestions from the members of the book club. Once I have a good number of suggestions I create a poll. I notify all the members of the book club about the poll and ask them to vote. Once I have a large amount of votes I choose a book that has the most votes. If there are books that have 2 or more votes. I add them to the next voting cycle. If a book has zero votes I get rid of them. I also choose a short story to create a little chit chat in the thread.
The book suggestions that we vote on will be in the first post with a link to reviews of the book and what the book is about. These links will be from either Amazon or Barns & Noble. The book suggestion link lists will be in the book genre area also, you can also suggest books in that area.
We will be reading two books at once. One, will be the main book that we read. The other book will be a short story. After everyone has read the first three chapters of the main book we can start talking about those chapters, and we will go from there. As for the short story book we can start talking about it right away.
When we start and end the book, is at random. Since we live in different places and have different things going on in our lives. However, I expect people to finish the book within a month or less of them having it. I will need to know when people get the books and finish the books. Through out the time we our reading the books we will be talking about it in the thread. As I said, we will go 3 chapters, 3 chapters, and so on. When we finish a book I will ask a few questions about the book.
