School may finally be getting under control. This is the first weekend I have had where there wasn't something or other hanging directly over my head. That's not to say that I don't have any school worries, just that there is a calm before the next storm. Taking advantage of it, I left campus yesterday among good company and had pancakes and boiled eggs. There was some bacon too, but it really wasn't good enough to merit mention. Sometimes you don't realize just how much living on a college campus can effect you. It was nice to not have cafeteria food and to experience sunlight. Not to mention just sitting around and talking was quite enjoyable. After the pancakes, I went and got books. I'm already over 200 pages into a book I bought around 8pm last night. Desperate for a reading fix, me? Meh. It happens, and life is going well right now.

But you sometimes get tired of the day to day tedium that is schooling. Mostly, I get tired of being stuck in buildings all day. I'm starting to miss the sun, and I want to get away from it all, kick back beneath a palm tree and hold a coconut containing alcohol and a paper umbrella. It's good to be eccentric.
