The person I love - my role model, I suppose - has never given me a word of praise, of congratulations. Not even tonight, when I made third chair in county band - beating out tons of upperclassmen - or when I made 5th chair in district.
I've already resigned myself that I'll never be able to be in love with you - I KNOW that!!!! All I want is for you to be proud of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why can't you understand that?
