I wish I knew how to say all the thoughts inside my head,
I think them and they sound so right, but on my lips they turn to lead.
If I could lighten these words and tell you just exactly how I feel,
Then maybe some of the regret inside of me would heal.
I don't deserve your smile, or your kindness, or your kiss,
And long have I hoped that my heart would dismiss
These feelings that empower me and seep into my soul,
Yet never in my life have I ever felt so whole.
I hope you know I love you, more than you will ever know,
And through it all, I never want to let you go.
