A Rose in a clean pond. Free from the worries of this world. I sighed as I watched it as it floated, pushed forward by the crick under the old wooden bridge I stood on. I took a deep breath, I love spring. The weather is perfect, and the flowers bloom. I can't come down here during the winter; a soft breeze moved my hair slightly. Here I am happy, away from all that bothers me. I looked up and breathed out, but I have to go back. Soon. I will go soon.
I wanted to stay here for as long as possible before having to return to the hectic life back at home. I sat down, and took off my shoes. Put one of my feet in the water; I can hardly wait until I move out. I know they need me, but they need to learn how to be on their own. I will show Madaline this place next, but she has to promise to keep it a secrete. If the little ones found this garden there would be no hope for my flowers.
I looked up at the Oak tree branches above me, the main trees around here were Oaks and Weeping Willows. The Willows are my favorite tree, I don't know why but there is something romantic about them. This small creek runs into a small pond that has a small clearing around it. This is where I planted my flowers. My Roses, Tulips, and Lillis. This is my place, I needed it since I was the oldest in the orphanage.
I heard voices calling my name from afar. I sighed stood up, grabbed my shoes, and turned to walk away. I Looked over my shoulder once more; wishing I could stay longer. I smiled because I knew I would be back, and I walked off to see what was wrong up at the house. I just hope one of the boys didn't set the oven on fire again, and I wondered where that blasted woman went. The one who was put in charge of us. Doesn't matter, if she left I will take the money I need to buy food from her desk. I've picked the lock once before.
