- PART ONE -
The sun rosed from dusk to dawn, I was awake. Sitting down on my stool smiling at myself in the mirror. I've been in this High school for a long time.. Its called, 'Kuriko Private High,' my parents wanted me to go to this school so that I could be popular just like the other people in the neighborhood. I could of said no, but I wanted to check or to see how the place looked like.
So walking to school alone, my sister came running behind me. She called my name, "Rosie!"
I turned around and stopped, "Hmm?.." I asked, "What is it?"
Amy was gasping for air. Tilting her head up at me then back to the ground. I wondered what was her answer, I also hoped that she doesn't stuttered as she usually does, because I normally don't understand her at all..
"So?.." I asked again still looking at her, holding my school bag to the side.
"Hold on," she breathe heavily, finally she got up standing straight, "What time did you wake up, dude?"
"Earlier than you! Com'on, we got to hit to class before the bell rings!" So I started to walk my way to school leaving my sister behind.
"Damn it, Rose!" Amy exclaimed, then she started to chase after me.
As we finally arrived, to the school. I stopped at the gate staring at the building. Seeing how giant it was and seeing many of the students walking by and hanging out with their friends.. Well, that's what I think.. at least...
Anyways, Amy and I went to the office getting our keys to our room. However, we had each of our own. Though, I can't be alone because normally almost about thirteenth day, I get nightmares. And I needed someone to wake me up.
Amy looked at me, "Well, Rose, I guess you're going to have your own room to yourself. Aren't you happy?"
I was about to shake my head, yet I nodded, "yeah..I guess.."
Amy walked a few steps a head of me on the opposite direction, "Well, see you on the other side or tomorrow!"
Amy ran off, and there I was standing alone waving my goodbye to her. I turned to my left, with a sigh, searching for my dorm number.
When I finally found the place, I still had the keys in my hand. I stuck it in the knob and unlocking it. Slowly opening the door, the sound of the creek, crept. I whispered, peeking my head in the room, "Uhm, hello...?"
Luckily, there was no one in the room, I was pretty happy. Entering my room, I left my bags on the bed, "First year in a new school.." I murmured.
Unpacking my belongings out of the bag, I decorated my room. A knock came from my door, I opened it, "Yes?"
"Welcome to your new school. I'm Hikari, Mini. Pleasure to meet you!" said the girl.
I smiled and stuck my hand out, "Nice to meet you too, I'm Rosie Yang."
Mini shook my hand and lend me two boxes. I wondered what it was. Mini told me, "These boxes are the uniforms that you will be wearing for the rest of the school year. Good thing that the school provided laundry in each dorm."
"Oh, thanks..."
"No problem, if you need anything ask me, I am Dorm B20." she told me once more.
I thought, Dorm B20. That's not far. Its close to my dorm. At least I get to do some exercising since I'm Dorm B10...
Smiling at Mini, "Thanks for your help."
"Betsuni," she said turning away, suddenly she turned back, "Oh yeah class will begin in several of minuets... So get ready!"
This girl, Mini, seemed excited about the first day. Maybe she's been in this school for a pretty long time? Yet, it doesn't matter right now, I had to get ready.
The bell rang, I was sitting down in my desk. I looked at it and examine it. To see how it really looked like both, outside and inside of the desk. The desk looks fine to me... I thought to myself.
Other students around me were watching, wondering, 'What is she doing with the desk?' or 'This girl must be crazy just by examining the desk?' I didn't care. If they say things, then that's their problem and/or opinion. Its like I even give a crap about their damn opinions.
The bell rang, I finished examining the desk. I looked at the chalk board as the teacher came into the room. She smiled, "Ohayoo, my students!"
"Ohayoo, Sensay!" everyone in the room replied, including me.
"She's so beautiful," said one of the students in the back
"I heard that she's amazing teacher out of the entire school!" said another one.
I got tired of hearing people just gossiping about other people. As the matter of fact, I just hated the way how the students just mess around with others, in other words, 'bullies.' Oh, how I hate them, I just want to kick their butts!
The teacher introduced herself while I was just looking out the window. The seat that I sit is in the back. Good thing that I don't sit in the front because I would get tired of just other students telling me to move my big head out of the way.
Five minuets left in class, we took notes. Another student came into the room. He bowed, "Sumimasen, I'm sorry that I didn't came on time, Senpai."
"Well then, you must be Akihiko Sanada, eh?" she asked.
The boy nodded his head, "Hai."
The teacher told him, "Well, then since we still have about five minuets of class left, you could introduce yourself later.. in front of the entire class."
"Hai."
"Oh yeah, your seat is where Ms. Yang is. The back row a seat close to the window."
"Hai," he said again.
While he walked to his seat. The girls whispered at one another about how cute the kid who just entered out of the blue.
Finally, the bell rang, it was lunch time, I got up and walked out of the room right behind many, while the other students, who were in the front, bragging about how boring the class was.
Standing by the classroom door, I finally have an opportunity to stretch out the sleepy muscles that were dead in class in about two in a half hours. Yeah, class is pretty long.
Suddenly, some of the boys came up to Akihiko, that boy that sit next to me.
"Hey, wassup?"
"Huh?.. What is 'wassup' mean?" He asked.
The boys chuckled, and one of them answered, "You'd never heard of it before?"
Akihiko shook his head, "No... I havent.."
"Wow, kid, you got to learn how we street people act around with each other before school, during school, and after school." said another one.
They chatted for a while. Akihiko told them that he was going to leave. And so he left. The boys continued to chatter about him. Akihiko stood next to me, while I was still stretching out.
"Those boys..." He said
"Hm?" I looked up at him and stopped.
"Those boys are weird..."
"Things happen. That's why I don't like hanging out with boys that much.. Nor girls, because most of them think that they know everything and etc..." I responded.
He looked at me, "Really?.. So you're much like an independent person then."
I turned my head a little at him, just moving my eyes to the corner, "Yeah, sort of.."
"But--" we said at the same time, "No, you go.."
Silence came upon the two of us, I started to talk again, "You should go first.."
"Mm, Okay..." he said, "But why so independent?"
"Well, because-- like what I had said before, I just don't like hanging out with those kind of people like them," I pointed, "Nor them... Nor even them..."
He watched where I pointed very carefully, "Huh, you seem like a tough one.."
"However," I startled a bit, "I have a sister that goes here too.. Yet, she's in a lower class level than I am."
"Who's your sister?"
"Mines?" I asked.
He nodded his head, "Yeah, who's your sister?"
"My sister.. Her name is Amy.."
Both, Akihiko and I chatted for for a while.
Well, at least I had made two friends during the beginning of the school year this far... I thought when school was over.
Walking alone to my dorm, Akihiko saw me, "Rosie-chan!"
I heard his voice and turned, "Nani?" I asked quietly.
"Where's your dorm?"
"I stay in Dorm B10... You?"
"Hey, I stay close by you. I'm not that far... Oh and its Dorm B7," He answered, "We should walk together sometimes."
I nodded, "Sure."
Walking with Akihiko to our dorm, a guy bumped into us, "Move," he said, then he walked away.
When that boy left, I thought to myself for a moment and stopped, Why wasn't her wearing his uniform just like the rest of us? Hm...
Akihiko stopped and turned, "What's wrong?"
I shook my head, "Its nothing," with a small smile, "let's head back to our dorm."
Again, Akihiko and I chatted for a while, he walked passed his dorm but also he wanted to drop me off to my dorm. After that I closed the door, telling him that I will see him tomorrow morning in class again.
The sun was setting, I was reading my book for a while then started to take out some scratch paper and made a diary for me to write the things that had happened to me during this time of the year.
Night came and it was only eight thirty, I finally finished making it. So then I started writing down...
'Date: December 2, 2015 Time: 8:30 pm
Dear Diary,
In the future you and I will be good friends. So first I should introduce myself.. I am a freshmen. I now go to Kuriko Private High. A sister who is older but has a lower class level than I am, is Amy. I hardly see her during passing period. However, I now have my own dorm to stay. Most of my things aren't unpacked yet. But hopefully I will have time to unpack it.
There are six days of school, which means that Sunday is the day I have no school. Crazy isn't it?.. I used to go to a school that just usually have two days off, which that was Saturday and Sunday.
Anyways, it was the first day of school ( or class ) , pretty much I made two friends so far.. On the other hand, I hardly know them. I hope that I will get along with them in the future too, just like you...
Well, now I have to go.. Its time for me to go to bed now. Perhaps I will write more interesting things tomorrow. Goodnight. '
