* An equal number of people in Wisconsin want Gov. Walker recalled as those who don't. a majority of Wisconsinites would vote against him as he ran today, mostly because Republican voters are abandoning him. walker is still planning to start firing people, strip collective bargaining, and bring in outside contractors.
* The US Congress is looking likely to do a two week budget extension. This means things like this month's paychecks to employees will come. Democrats are still demonstrating spine on not redefining rape and continuing to feed pregnant woman in poverty, etc..

* O.o. Obama called the Republican bluff on health care reform. I am fascinated to see what happens next. I'm rooting for Oregon, as they are one of the best hopes for single payer.
* BP is deep water drilling in the Gulf again, despite there being no improvement at all in technology or regulations.
* I'm really disappointed with Rachel Maddow for getting on the let's laugh at men in skirts band wagon. I thought she was better than that.
* The Chinese are opening new colleges to increase technological innovation, while here in America we are trying to prevent the children of the poor and middle class from going to college by dismantling the financial aid system and doing everything possible to damage the public schools.
