So, this is a poem I got from school on Thursday. When it was poem in your pocket day. That day is basically carrying a mini poem in your pocket that you like. So here's mines:
Dreams
Hold fast to dreams For if dreams die Life is broken- winged bird That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams For when dreams go Life is a barren field Frozen with snow. - No other than the poet Langston Hughes
I think this poem; it rhymes, obviously. Also though, you learn a life lesson through this poem: never give up on dreams, no matter what others might say. Really explains every day lifestyle, eh? Dreams help you succeed in life, no matter how stupid or hard they might be, go ahead and pursue them.
