A secret to be revealed
is like information
yet to be probed out of you.
Sometimes it's not important.
Sometimes it doesn't even need to be said.
In fact, it's better left unsaid,
and left as it is: a secret.
Oftentimes I think
there's no such thing as a secret,
because somebody always finds out
somehow; eventually.
This is why some people refer to society
as busy birds or "the grapevine".
Word travels fast.
So if you don't want your secret revealed to everyone,
you best keep your mouth shut,
because it will get out.
If you're going to tell people,
then you might as well
not call it a secret.
You might as well call it
another piece of gossip.
