Still waiting on stuff. Can you believe it?

Anyway, freak storm hit our area a few days ago...it's amazing that the library (now temporarily closed) didn't get hit by the three or four trees that came down near it.

Also, the nearby hospital had some temporary waterfront property (heh, heh) and part of a nearby apartment complex got flooded, so some people over there woke up to find their cars partly submerged. Ouch.

I'm almost done with the Turok guide for GameTrailers, if you can believe it. I've completed a few guides while working on the Turok guide at the same time:

Teenage Ninja Turtles: Back From The Sewers for Game Boy. It's like the Power Rangers game for Game Boy from 1994...except this was released three years prior and it's a hell of a lot better. Thank you, Konami, for your continued consistency of giving us a quality product, then and now...even if it's something unexpected like Animaniacs. biggrin

Bart vs. The Space Mutants for NES. Oh, boy. I know there's multiple versions of this for Commodore 64, DOS, and even the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive (which has completely different music, btw), but I'm covering the much-remembered Nintendo version. Oh, lord, this game is hard.

Rockin' Kats (aka New York Nyankies) for NES. A really nice platformer from Atlus. Check it out, the hanging and launching off of stuff all over the level to get to places you usually couldn't gives a sort of Bionic Commando-ish vibe (kinda) and bouncing off walls with the punch glove as well as grabbing things with it is pretty interesting, too. You're really required to rely on your punch gun to defeat things and get everywhere in this game...I'm surprised this game hasn't been copied by anyone else.

Once I'm done with Turok, I'll probably start on a guide for ActRaiser. I don't know what else to do besides that, though. Maybe I'll work on "The Ooze" for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive...
