Elegance in Full

Contemplating my mind is tracing emotions so strong and warm
Caught in the gaze of elegance’s face
Though I’m so very weak and torn
Accepting the sheer fact that our love will have to wait
I will stand here for you
Till my lungs can no longer inflate

Bask in the perpetual serenade of hope in hope to free myself
I have suffered so long
You will deliver me from this hell
Declaring that the war of love has yet to see its deciding battle
I will remain here and gaze
Take in humility for awhile

A true emulation in splendid human form
A vision so pure and beautiful



Eradicated then desecrated but I push boldly on
I have seen the damage of retrogress
It can sever the sweetest bond
Never more will my vision up and fail me again
Shifting my gaze away from you
Is a gesture that will never happen

Freezing fire of destructive desire can no longer singe my soul
Though we are both seeds in concrete
The sprouting leaves of hope will show
I will never see the day when the light of our fire burns
To its bitter end of strength
We are the first that had to learn
