Don't let me run away
From these chains that bind me.

Let the rain pelt me from above,
A sort of pain I welcome.

I embrace this cold agony
Like one whom embraces love.

This is my hope.

The hopeful thoughts that one day I
Can keep my world from crumbling.

If I run away now
It was all for nothing;

All the pain from suffering in silence.

So pelt me,

Beat me,

You little drops of ice.

Remind me over and over
Why I must continue living.

I can't give up yet…

But I don't know how too stop myself from falling.
