Geez.I'd already heard of the terms 'weaboo' and 'wapanese',and I just kind of ignored them,because 1.) I know they don't apply to me,I realize Japan isn't all sparkles and big eyes, 2.)Almost every single description of the phrases are written/typed by people biased against anime,manga,and anything that can be called Japanese pop culture by Americans,and so are meant to offend people who have become more interested in Japan due to anime,and 3.) because nobody I know say those terms.Now,my dad and my little brother read an exaggerated definition of these,to be specific 'Wapanese',and they've decided to start calling me weaboo as an insult.SO LAMELY ANNOYING.

Honestly,I am a bit obsessed with Japanese culture,but that's because I'd like to live there and I'm trying to see if there's any deal breakers that would make me not want to live there.I want to live in Norway too,or Austria,but no,just make fun of me for having in interest in something other than boys,makeup,or 'being an adult',like a normal teenage girl.

And at least the target of my hobby is real.They play World of Warcraft,a FANTASY game,that has no meaning in the real world,won't get you a job,and frankly is really lame.I mean seriously,I don't go all fangirl at them,I don't force them to watch/hear anime.The most I do is tell them about the story-line of a particularly interesting anime,or express that I'd like to go to a convention.They talk about WoW constantly,bicker over the right way to play a game,and make me watch or read things I really couldn't care less about.They're impolite about the object of their obsession,a fictional world,and rude about the object of my obsession,a REAL EXISTENT LOCATION.It seems awfully moronic,eh?
