So your entering My Personal Space!!!
My Dear Evangeline ~1~
Dear Evangeline,

There are many reasons I'm writing this letter for your eyes alone. It seems apparent that you've stolen something of mine. Something valuable and essential to my very well being. The unfortunate reality however, is I don't want it back. I would like you to consider it a parting gift among friends or perhaps a shoddy engagement present for when that certain day comes to be thrown away. You see, soon I will be leaving due to uncontrollable circumstance and though the stolen thing in question is now hardly of any use to you, I'm confident it will remain in your possession for a while longer. You know I've never been the sort for words and my knowledge on certain subjects are best explained as non-existent. Although one talent I've well mastered to my belief is saying goodbye regardless of how much it vexes me, along with the ability to hide my true feeling with a smile. At the train station the other day, during the darkest of hours, when you seemed to be in the sickest of states, if you remember, I boldly offered a kerchief to try and hide your tears and reassure you Jameson would never engage in such a thought you gave me. Despairingly, I could do nothing more than that, for nature has twisted me into a form of insensitive being that wishes for but does not own the skills needed to console you. The uselessness I felt was like that of a failing machine that soon ceased functioning and had fallen apart exposing nothing but emptiness. I kept this well hidden however, I jeered, joshed, and engaged in tomfoolery to hide the pain, to hide my own tears from seeing you in such a sad state of mind and body. We took the carriage together that night the lanterns burning oils guiding us along the way as I pointed out trivial things like the river and the farmsman's field, all irrelevant to your situation. Oh, how I wanted just to see you happy again. Then the horse's gallop slowed and ceased at its destination where we later took our separate ways. When I returned to my own homestead, alone once more, sitting in my velveteen lounger unexplained tears began to well in my eyes. I wanted oh so hard to cease these tears, though they persisted. Knowing not of whether these where tears of joy that you were safe and joyous oncemore or tears of sadness and sorrow that you will soon if not already, be forever lost beyond my grasp. I leave you with these words my once dear Evangeline do take good care of my heart as I venture forth into the unknown never to be seen again. However, more importantly, take care of yourself and I'm more that confident that in return Jameson will take good care of you as well.

Yours truly and entrusted friend,
Charleston Redwin
