Character Name: Ioristel Eire (Last Name kept only in memory)
Age: "Old enough." Refuses to give an exact age, appears to be in her late 30's or early 40's.
Race: Sael
Appearance: Because she is a Sael, this means she shares an almost complete look to that of an average human. The main differences being their ears seem a bit pointed in elven fashion, and their skin holds just a thin enough green tint to make one puzzled. Enough to be noticed, but just faint enough to wonder if it's a light trick.
Profession: Travelling Scholar/Teacher/Historian. Bad luck tends to migrate her to places in the middle of a crisis between nations who decide she side with one or the other.
Skills/Talents: Extensive knowledge about history, events, and people. Average combat skills gained from being a jack of all trades and master of none. Though never swung a blade, fired an arrow, or released a spell, the knowledge she has obtained would allow her to... moderately... probably do any of those things.
Bio: A historian for the Sael. Though a person who never cared for the afterlife and lives of deities since she couldn't see or touch them, she was married to Alsan Eire, one of the chief priests of the Temujin Church. However, when he received word that his group of soldiers were to leave, she went with him. When everything was over, she realized she came back alone.
With the lack of care given to her loss, on top of several developing problems to her sanity and perhaps overall mental health, she abandoned her position, and abandoned all things she had and became a travelling scholar. The more people she's met and the more places she's travelled to have only solidified the idea that this is all they have.
Misc: Is paraniod someone's out to kill her for learning something she shouldn't have discovered. Hates rain because it brings bad luck to her. Extremely negative more often than not. Drifting from sanity to madness slowly, as most of her kind do after a certain age.
Talks of a library stored with knowledge that she holds dear, though never mentions where it is because "It is under my watch, and that which is in must not be threatened with the thought of ruin, for it speaks against what many want to believe."
"I confess I never cared much for the thought of a hereafter. That was you Alsan who always went and prayed, who did the rituals. I was too busy with the here and now to assist you. And now you're gone, but yet I remain. If only because of your last wish, I will keep on. There is still too much that hasn't been discovered yet."
"You would think me a mage, but no... I'm not a soldier, or a fighter. I am not a thief or rogue, nor am I a mage or sorceror. I'm the traveller, that weird mixture of all three that manages through scrapes by using everything."

It's weird to think and consider.
Every single day, I get one step closer to my current goals in life.
And yet no matter how much I learn and understand,
No matter how much I become aware of when I was once ignorant,
I never feel proud that I've made these steps.[/align:04fec1fda9]
