Journal Entry: December 30th, 1965

Dear Evangeline,

I haven't received a response from you as of late. I also doubt I ever will. Seeing as my relationship with the supposed woman of my dreams was all an elaborate ruse by her family to attain if not destroy my fortune. The Sea Gem collapsed in the north sea a few days ago. I have no way of linking her to its collapse but I am now one oil platform short. It baffles me why I continue to wright too you, seeing as I'm on my dying breathes. This letter will never be sent and you will never receive it. As my blood stained hands continue to wright in this darkened abandoned place that might as well be called my tomb, it makes me wonder, if I'll ever see you again...However, without a doubt I don't intend on giving up yet. This letter as cliche and morbid as it may be will still remain. I find it hilarious how in truth we can never be truly together but it does not change the fact that my love for you as a friend will be upheld. My hand is getting tired I think it best I rest for now. Goodnight Evangeline. I'll be sure to wright again. That is..a promise.
