This morning I awoke to yellow. After knocking the bird off of my face, he continued the strange humor from the day before. I have a feeling this will persist for the rest of the trip.
The air is cold this morning as we head out. Luckly the fog is mostly gone. The water rocks the boat constantly. Gelbbird just got sea sick on my shirt. He seems very guilty so I forgave him.
After changing my cloths, I went to wash my shirt. While I was cleaning, I saw someone that looked a lot like a person I knew. I almost caused them physical injury, but this person seemed so different then that person I noticed right away it wasn't him.
His face was cleanly shaven, his brown hair was nicely kept and tied back, and his brown eyes carried a look of maturity and calmness. I had to laugh at myself for my error. This got their attention though and they looked at me confused. Perhaps they were offended. I quickly cleared things up though.
Their name is Alaric. The meaning of their name is ironic. We talked for a bit, until he had to go and I had to stay. The contents of our discussion I will keep classified, but let's just say he's a good guy. Gelbbird didn't seem to like him much, but he's just a bird.
After I was done, I helped around the boat with the lining and rigging and going over supplies and cooking and anything else to keep myself busy. I got pretty exhausted.
I went to my room and closed the door securely before taking a nap. I woke up to the feeling of something warm touch my face, when I opened my eyes there was Gelbbird. I felt a cold breeze from the gaping open door. It must have just swung open while I was asleep. I closed it before resting again, this time for the night.
