Here We Are, But We're Still Lost

I have spilled my heart on this journal and now I am making it public. I doubt what you will find will interest you much. It's only my battered soul. Lol, sorry, that was really angst, wasn't it?

When you check out my love and don't renew it. I have lost hope in you. The man in you of two years ago use to contain a different heart. Now I find you chipped and splintered, with clauses on and under your skin. You have allowed love to hurt you too much. You have swallowed its bitterness, accepting loves poisons into your blood. It's taught you how to inflict its pain. The gentleman of romance and charm is replaced by a thief who abuses and burns. You have dashed my love and hopes on the sidewalk. I can not find in myself the capability to continue loving you. I am sorry, I wish you were too.
