Well...here it is...I dunno how much I'll update this but...I will...everynow and again lol and so...enjoy! n.n
You know Foamy Rant? this is Cory Rant
All right...this is a two-parter and Im sure alot of people can relate to this so bear the length and read, please.

Part number one is in regards to gaming. People, seriously! If you like a game, learn to fight, don't learn one or two moves that are unblockable, nigh impossible to dodge, or in games where you're one of the only people with a projectile, just sit back and use that, and nothing else. Please, there are alot of people who like games, and some of us(such as the inexpeerienced) are looking for a good match, a challenge, not to be completely cheated and jipped. Have a little respect for your other gamers. We all know winning is fun. But if you're gonna win anyway, how about being a little fair. We all wanna have fun. Even if we lose. So try actually learning the game, and not just two moves? Seriously. common decency. learn it. Practice it. stop be an a*****e.

Now onto number two. I am an anime fan, I love it. I always have been. I always will. Now unlike some anime fans, who aparently think they are better fans, I don't like having to read as I watch. Further more, I am American. I speak English. Do I want to learn Japanese? yes. Do I enjoy the Japanese Culture? yes. Do I currently speak Japanese? no. Do I prefer knowing exactly what people are saying? yes. Am I less of an Anime fan because of this? NO!!! Seriously. If you wanna watch Original Japanese with subtitles. that's great, that is your porogative and your right. If I wanna watch it in English, in my native language, without subtitles. That is my right, that is my parogative. Neither of us is better. Neithe rof us is right. It's a matter of preferences. Get over yourself. We both enjoy the same thing. So sit down. shut up. and let's enjoy it. Stop being a colossal a*****e. and shut up.

thanks for bearing with me anyone who read this. blaugh

Fighting game people that do that have a specific name. Although, I have never learned that name since I am FAR too polite to say that word in public.

And, If they didn't edit it like crazy, then it doesn't matter what language it is in. However, if they do what 4 Kids does to anime, then learn to read subbies, or someone else's Fan Dub.

Nice ranting ya got there though, Ryo-RYO-chan.

Yay for foamy who opened the door to this rant, I agree that just because you have the patience to sit and read subtitles you are not better for it. And as for the fighter rant I agree whole heartedly that is a noob stratigy if you're seasoned on the genre then learn some ******** self respect and get to know your charecters it more fun that way.

Totally agree that just because you can't sit and read subtitles means that you're not an anime fan. Being an anime fan is because you love the genre, not because "oh, I can read subs and you can't". xd Nice rant, Ryo 3nodding

I tend to not play fighting games because all I ever do is button mash sweatdrop . Actually...that's all I ever do when I play fighting games sweatdrop

it's not that I CAN'T read subs, I don't want too. I prefer just hearing words and watching action

Nice rant Cory ^.^

I agree with you totally. Like in fighting games, I've played against people who just kept pushing drop kick and knocking the crap out of me >< And I'm like "What the!? Quit using the same move!!" So I feel your pain there and stuff.
As for the snime subtiltes. Once again, I agree. I'm in an anime club at my school. A lot of people think they are bigger anime fans just because the downloaded anime epsiodes of ones that didn't premire yet or what ever. And then they rub it in your face afterwards and might even give away a turning point. I like to multitask. Watching anime while drawing or chatting online or whatever. So I got to listen in the language I learned and junk. So Cory, you are totally right. And I'm glad you brought it up for people to see ^___^

Mariam does not know of this Foamy Rant.
o3o

Anywho, I have retired from gaming so I can't really say much about that.
xD
But yeah I know what you mean.
Although games I was majorly into weren't really with game consoles, rather online games: sc, d2, wc, cs etc. etc.
xP

I've no problem reading sub's, I'm pretty darn used to it. Both my parents speak about 2 other languages rather than english so we tend to watch foreign shows and whatnot, and the subs have to be put on for me and my brother to follow along.
But I'd much rather listen than read.
x3
