Gotta get out of the way...
Cautiously, Ariyoul cuffed the corner of Cadoi City, desperately bolting into Towa Records. The Noise chased after him, not letting up, hungry for Soul, he could tell.
Swinging on his heel, he tripped into Miyashita Park, bumping into someone. He felt the isolation of no pact, and quickly shoved the person and pinning the person on the wall. He was glad he was invisible - if someone caught this scene, who knew what people would conjure up in their dirty minds. But his best friends were rough - guess where they got it from: him. If Ariyoul was to survive now, it was to be strong and to stand firm. He can't die, not when he's been given a golden chance.
"Make a pact with me, kid. I plan on sticking around to kill the GM. If not, expect to be killed here and now."
"Kind sir, it'd be appreciated if you put me down before I refuse your lovely offer," came a sweetly venomous reply.
Ariyoul nodded, releasing the boy's collar.
"I accept."
Cognizing the bright cyan lights that burst forth, signifying the pact, Ariyoul smirked darkly, dashing towards the Noise symbol.
Engaging in combat, dragging his partner with him, he looked around to see the boy not there. Assuming he was elsewhere in the fight, he flipped a pin, throwing a silver bolt at a Noise. The tattoo-beast went up in waves, much like those on a unconnected television screen - black and white pixels. He turned around, to see another one vanish. Ah. So his partner was fighting.
He threw the last of his lightning and flipped out another pin, one that required him to swipe for it to activate. He growled in disgust - he did not plan to get close to the vermin.
The Noise vanished.
Kirei sighed.
That young grasshopper was certainly insolent and ignorant. To deliberately shove him and demand a pact wasn't the kindest way to ask for a pact. He could've at least bid him a hello and a request - but then, being killed by a tattoo wasn't the greatest death to abide by. He also didn't plan on eternal oblivion - he needed to go on, back to life.
Landing back in reality - well, the UG reality - and eyeing his partner, who in turn eyed him back, he sighed and opened his mouth to speak.
"What's your name, partner?"
"Ariyoul. You are?"
"I have no name."
"Then I'll call you Arashi. You look like him."
Kirei nodded in approval, not knowing who this "Arashi" his partner was referring to was, but he felt it right not to ask.
Beckoning Ariyoul to follow him, he chastised him, "Our mission is to 109, young grasshopper. Let us continue there now, shall we? Lest we both die, and now after pacting me, that isn't a kind alternative, is it?"
Kirei smirked before breaking into a run, surprisingly fast for one in a kimono and sandals. His legs were free to move in the clothing though - in dances, legs were meant to move, as were the arms and body itself, thus requiring freedom of the limbs. He looked over his shoulder to see his partner in a sprint, keeping up with the dancer.
Kirei smiled.
"This is not fun! Where is everyone? Aww..."
Serenade sulked by Hachiko, partnerless and frustrated. She had heard that a loophole in the partnering had been found - more than one person can be pacted, so a Player could have 2 partners and not suffer the consquences if one happened to be erased. Now if they were both erased... She shivered at the thought.
TO BE EDITED.
