I was walking through the trees one day when a man leaped out from behind a hedge and attacked me. All I remember is him screaming at me for money and when I shook my head no; I didn’t carry money with me, he forced a knife up into my chest. He let me fall and when I hit the ground clutching my chest, he searched me. Finding nothing he got angry and started hitting me. Finally he thrust the knife back into my chest and ran away. I couldn’t believe what had happened was real. I couldn’t do anything but grasp my chest and stare up at the sky. I looked at the clouds and thought that they looked like gigantic pillows. Then I heard something whisper “soon it shall be over my dear. You suffering will end shortly.” I turned my head slightly to see a little white and tan mouse running my hair through its tiny paws. I looked back up and thought the clouds seemed to be getting closer. After a few seconds I realized they were! Soon I was surrounded by soft white mist. The mouse shifted into a short skinny girl. She took my hand and pulled me to my feet. My chest suddenly didn’t hurt anymore. I looked at her and tried to ask who she was but she simply shook her head and pointed to a silver door I hadn’t noticed was there before. I looked back at her and she nodded. I walked to the door and slowly opened it. I was engulfed in a feeling of warmth and happiness. I knew nothing would ever hurt me again. This was peace. This was my paradise. Then everything was nothing. I simply disappeared. THE END
