INDENTA sparking pain began to blow its way into a fully functional flame, its imaginary embers eating away at his insides like dry paper. Jack didn't know why he was up there, standing tall compared to everyone sitting with their eyes glued on him. He had to admit, he was a little uncomfortable with this type of attention though, his personal life digging out too obviously, too deep. If Lee were to say anything stupidly exposing or secretive about Jack to all the open ears, he wouldn't know what he'd do. But it was too late for Jack to back away now, his rash decision once again regrettable; Once again involving Lee.

INDENTHis eyes squinted, a glare in his eyes cut open in slits directed straight at Lorelie. Oh, it's you again. Hey! How's life been since breakfast? It's nice to see that you're making new friends. Stealing mine. That's really cool. Really. The loud screams of sarcasm were all he wanted to say to the beige-stranded head of hers. Really, people are staring? Didn't notice. He called again, only keeping the bitter words to himself again. The fire in his eyes should have been enough for them to see that Jack didn't care if people were staring. Yet Lee and Lorelie both seemed to be awkward in the situation. Jack wanted to get to Lee's head, publicly, just to see what he could come up with under such pressure.

INDENTNot even taking a glance around the class, he knew that there wasn't a soul in the room interested or at least aware of his current scenario. He just kept his eyes set on Lee once they returned from the female beside him. What was wrong with this guy. Didn't he know it's rude not to greet a familiar face? Again, Jack's thoughts were silent, never leaving his little head. The hands that he had pounded on the table were still planted where they were, the only difference being the tensing talons as he curls his fingers. His open palms now shaped into fists on the table, it took Jack everything from pounding it elsewhere. But he didn't. Jack was more controlled than that. It would have been stupid. Then again, it wasn't what Lee did that made him angry. It was just what he didn't do. Just to stop, turn, say something like they knew each other. And Jack wasn't going to blame him for that little thing. Not too hard.

INDENTThen the world stopped. The air stopped coming into his lungs. His eyes widened as his pupils shrunk, just a tad bit enough to be noticeable. The firm enclosed punchers at the end of his wrists released as he straightened his back's arch, and his lips parted, only letting out a quiet puff of air. What Jack was afraid of had just happened. What he was hoping Lee was good enough not to do has just been done. His nightmare was now a reality. From the beginning, Jack knew it was a terrible mistake to take Lee, to show him what he did behind the curtains of his bad a** life. Not only did Lee practically tell everyone what he did, but he downplayed it. He insulted it. He pretended that he never cared.
"Waiting for your Angel? The white light in your dark life? What was that about?" The cold words that Lee spurt out would forever stain his memories, his whole image shattering, in front of everyone. Permanently tattooing itself into the inside of Jack's skull, Lee's little careless statement would always look down at everything Jack felt or opinionated on.

INDENTPink and pale recolored Jack's face. The pink painting over and across his cheekbones, connecting on the bridge of his nose, the pale bleaching the rest of his bust. That was only a temporary color pallet, the fleshy tone returning regularly, the but blush and flush remaining. How dare he?? I trusted him! Lee said everything would be okay... Is everything okay? Will it ever be? Questions and insecurities flooded his mind, just as it did before, but Jack kept a stern mask over his emotions this time. He dared not show what was really inside. The fire threatening to sprout out his eyes, a smokey steam wanting to whistle out of his ears. Sadness and insecurity wasn't the case anymore. Jack was pissed. And he knew exactly what to say to make up for Lee's mistake. Yes, Lee made a terrible mistake.

INDENTJack growled almost inaudibly. He drew in a breath, preparing for the rant to come. Then he stopped himself. It could have been mistaken for a gasp, or a short breath, but it was just a force of second thought. Lee's gay. Lee's gay. Even if he's "going to the dance with Lorelie". No one knows but me. No one knew about my life but him. Then he took the first step in crossing the line. He spilled the first blood. Should I do the same? As he continued questioning himself, he released air again, relaxing his tensed up form. No. Jack wasn't going to do it. That would be too much, even if Lee had just released one of his biggest secrets. Jack couldn't pull himself to ruin Lee. Not just yet.

INDENTWith the reddish tinge continually visible, it was slowly increasing. It was so hard for Jack to have to give up on this open opportunity, and as everyone knew about Jack, he was not one to do so. I can't believe I'm doing this. Jack openly let out a frustrated sigh, looking at the floor to his side. If this were an anime, a little vein would be pulsing on his forehead, but in reality nothing was shown but the crossed knit of his brow, his anger settling to a deep irritation. You owe me one. Little punk a** b***h. Jack spat bitterly in his mind again, the words openly and proudly spoken through his eyes. He backed up on his own terms, Lee having to be the only one to know the story to his defeat. The only one to ever know why Jack had nothing else to say. And to anyone who knew Jack, he always had something to say. In his last few seconds of intense eye contact, he could barely keep his head screwed in long enough before having to leave the room. With a few steps and a shove at the door, Jack was gone.
