In regards to Mr. Tony Touch...
When I think about Doc Holiday, I imagine a huge mix of a man. Quite coy and romantic, yet deep and mysteriousness hiding behind those sickened eyes.
In a parallel universe, in a twisted realm, I can see this scenebeing played:
A saloon, dark and damp. Candles sparkle in dimness, and in the twilight sits a man with a woman at his back. The woman is me, the man is you, dressed like Doc Holiday and I as his good woman.
The man's fingers skillfully dance across the piano, and his voice softly yet darkly sings to the woman a song that expresses all that he is...
"Kiss my jealousy
Love my inhibition
Ignore my defaults
Sidestep my creativity
Express my sadness
Accept my gaze
Downsize my talents
Murder my self esteem
Embrace my masochism
Simply, give in to me"
They share a kiss, the scene goes black, which brings us back to right here and now.
Fear can flood through the opposing souls in this play, but underneath it all is a burning desire for it to, someday, come true.
