"... My story... huh? That comes with a price."
You can feel the woman staring at you through her mask, and you're not quite sure what to think of it. "Well?" she asks expectantly. "Do you have something worth the time and information I'm going to give you?" She turns back to the sketchbook in her hands, adding more detail to a tree in her drawing. "If not, please go away. You're distracting me."
You just stare blankly at her, and she sighs after a moment. "You're new to this, aren't you?" She holds out a hand. "My information isn't free. You have to give me something of equivalent worth, just like buying something from the market." She sets down the charcoal she was drawing with on the ground next to her. "Money and information are my preferred payment types."
You begin pulling things from your bag in search of your money. You are startled as she snatches a small wooden figurine from the ground right after you set it down, but continue searching when she says nothing to you. You pour out some coins and offer them to her, which she accepts with her free hand. You can almost see her calculating the total in her head. "... It's not much... but I'll just take the rest in information."
