As most of my friends know my mum was diagnosed with breast Cancer in February last year. The news devastated the family. And we did what was required such as Chemotherapy and radiation. All of this finished in September of last year.
We were all glad it was over. So from that time, our regular checkups and doctor visits were every 3 months, until last visit, they told us to visit every 6 months.
So the sixth months was today, but prior to today's visit, mum had to do a Mammogram and a breast Ultra sound.
Here's where the problem begins, the results don't sound too good. Meaning, that she has some kind of mass in the breast, and needs to have a Biopsy done to find out what it is. sad This will be done Tuesday next week, and then two weeks later back to the specialist to see/get the results of it.
Up until that time, my heart is pumping a million miles and hour, my head hurts badly, my body is shaking. I'm a nervous wreck. I just don't want any more bad news, and I certainly don't want us to deal with anything bad, as we've done last year.
I just need to try and relax and stay calm and hope and pray for the best. To which I'm hoping your guys can help with. I just need some simple prayers for my mum.
Because of the way I'm feeling, I just need some 'me' time and may not be as sociable as I like to. This isn't fair at all and life can sometimes be cruel. crying
