She has very defined features, high cheekbones, and narrow (but not gaunt) cheeks. Her brows are not overly thick, but they are not the thin "attractive" brows seen in today's media.

Family Relationships
Mother:
Unknown

Relationship with Mother:
She has never met her birth mother. Instead, she was raised by an elderly woman who had made a home for herself deep within the forest outside of Corvine, surrounding the Mage's Tower.

Father:
Unknown

Relationship with Father:
Amara has never met her father, and does not know who he is. There have been rumors, however, that if she were less wild looking, that she may bear a resemblance to one of the lords in Corvine.

Siblings:
None that she knows of. She does, however, consider Raksha, her dire wolf to be like a sibling.

Relationship with siblings:
Raksha has been there with her since she can remember. She and the wolf have shared many adventures, and are very protective of one another. They cause a bit of trouble, where ever they go, however, because of the thought that wolves, especially those the size of Raksha, are killers, and should be slaughtered to prevent deaths.

Brynjar, another ranger that she met on one of her adventures. Godiva, a knight from the kingdom of Kogar, which is to the south of the forest. Rodin, a cleric of sorts from Corvine, gifted with the wolf-touch (he is a werewolf).

Allies:
Fra, a pirate from the eastern seas who was not very good at not getting caught. King Nicolas of Corvine, he often sends the friends on journeys that he thinks others cannot handle. King Joseph of Kogar, another who trusts the friends with difficult tasks, and has them to thank for the allegiance with Corvine. Zexel Creos, creator of the Creons, a race of hybrid humanoids similar to chimeras.

Enemies:
"Roger", Redele Creos. He has been bringing havok across the land for a long while now

Personal Characteristics
Physical Strengths:
Amara is greatly dexterous, and sure footed. She has impeccable accuracy in combat and from a distance with her bow. She does not tire easily.

Physical Weaknesses:
Though quick and accurate, Amara is not overly strong. What she has in endurance and speed, she somewhat lacks in strength.

Mental Strengths:
Amara has the mind of a tactician, she plans everything ahead of time, counting out the numerous possibilities that could happen, and planning for each of them.

Mental Weaknesses:
Though fantastic with plans, when something goes unexpectedly, she falters. Often times, when this happens, it comes down to "kill first, ask questions later." That is, unless surrounded by allies, in which case, she lets someone else come up with the solution.

Skills
Fighting:
Amara is skilled in two-weapon fighting, often preferring the quick attacks she can get off with two short swords over the heavy striking of a single, larger weapon. She is also skilled with a bow from years of hunting to keep herself alive.

Magic:
No magical skill, and a small amount of understanding.

Technology:
This is something very new to Amara. Living in the forest for the majority of her life, she has only recently been exposed to anything more advanced than the things she could make on her own with the equipment around her.

Stealth:
Over the years, this has been something that Amara has had to learn well. The use started out for hunting, stalking her prey and being able to sneak up on them. More recently, however, it has been adopted for use in the adventures she has set out on.

Secrecy:
Amara has very little need of secrecy, and would more often than not rather just be blunt about whatever she is thinking. She does, however, understand that in some cases, it is necessary, and has the ability to keep the necessary secrets.

Manipulation:
The only thing that makes Amara good at manipulating people is the fact that they are often terrified of Raksha.

Thievery:
She has never been one to steal, understanding how difficult it is to get by in a world where everything depends on the things you are able to do. She sees thieves as nothing more than people who are too lazy to work for the things they need.

Piloting:
No skill.

Persuasiveness:
Again, her persuasiveness is much the same as her ability to manipulate others. It all depends on how much they fear Raksha.

History
Childhood:
Amara's childhood was not a bad one. Though she had been abandoned at birth by both of her parents, she was taken in by a kind, elderly woman who lived alone deep within the forest. She was always told that she was found because of destiny, that her parents had known she would be found, and had trusted their faith. Though the thought of being abandoned has always haunted Amara, it did not stop her from having a happy childhood. She grew up learning the ways of the natural world, learning to respect each creature for what it was, and to honor the world around her, for it was worth protecting at all costs. In the winter of her 6th year of life, she found a small, pure white wolf pup who had also been abandoned. In a fit of loneliness and understanding, she took the pup home with her, and begged the old woman to let her keep it. She soon gave the pup the name Raksha, which she seemed to like, and their bond strengthened. The two orphans became inseparable, and trekked through the forest together often, sometimes guiding lost travelers from one place to another.

Teenage Years:
It wasn't long before the old woman who had raised Amara became ill with age. In Amara's early teenage years, around the time she came to her 13th year, the woman left the forest, leaving only a note to Amara, explaining that in her old age, she longed to once more see her home in the mountains, but that Amara had become more than a daughter to her. She wanted her to look after to forest, to protect it from those who would harm it, and to continue her life. The change was hard on her, but Amara eventually came through the sadness of losing her only parent, and became a guide for the people traveling at any time through the forest. Knights often called upon her to guide lords and ladies from the kingdoms to the tower, or simply between the kingdoms. She was paid well for her services, though she had little use or idea what the coins were that she was given. She eventually made her way into one of the cities, curious as to why there were so many people traveling between them, and found many things she had not thought she would; foods from across the continent, clothing made of fine silks and metal, weapons she could only have dreamed of, and many other things. On her next journey with the nobles, she brought with her a pouch that she had filled with her payments, and purchased her first true sword.

Adulthood:
Amara's teenage years were cut short quickly. Upon hearing of her skills in the forest, King Nicolas of Corvine called for her at the young age of 15. He had need of a guide who could get him to the tower without a commotion. They were to leave in the dead of night, and return some days later. This was the first time that Amara realized that the more power one held, the better off they were. She quickly became a favorite to King Nicolas, and when the time came on the start of her 16th year, that King Nicolas needed to have a treaty delivered to King Joseph of Kogar, he hand chose Amara to guide the group and make sure it was delivered. This started Amara on the path to her destiny, though at the time, she knew nothing of it.

More Details

Life
How would you describe your life overall?
It has not been a bad life, certainly has had it's ups and downs, but has been far from a bad life.

What is your most memorable moment?
The evening of finding Raksha. In that moment, it felt like everything that had happened, it had to be made better for her.

What has been the most important event in your life?
Meeting Brynjold. Somehow, it helped make it easier to understand the ups and downs of life, and that not all things that we think are bad, really are.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Saving the world from destruction at the... claws... of Eluvius.

What is your number one regret?
Not killing Redel Creos when first given the chance.

When were you the most afraid?
When I realized that there were more than just a few people relying on my actions to keep their lives.

What is your greatest fear? Why?
Failing in protecting my home, because if I fail, I can never return.

What is the most honorable or “good” thing you’ve ever done?
Honorable? Having the frame of mind to allow Zexel Creos to punish Redele in the way their race saw fit, though really wanting to kill him then and there.

What is the most “evil” thing you have ever done?
Re-burying the Titan beneath the castle ruins in the north. But then, with the threat he made, there was little else I was going to do.

Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
I am unsure, there is something between myself and Brynjar and myself, though I don't know how far it will go, or how long it may last.

Do you have a notorious or celebrated ancestor/relative? Does that affect you?
I do not know my ancestors.

Do you have any secrets? If so, what are they?
There are very few things I keep from others. The one major secret I held for a time was that my traveling companion, Raksha, was housing the soul of Terra, one of the four great dragons.

Personality

What three words would you use to best describe your personality?
Calm, thorough, and brave.

What three words would others probably use to describe you?
Level-headed, naive, and natural.

Why are you risking your life to adventure?
Because it is my destiny, and I could not live with myself if I had let this beautiful land fall into ruin.

Do you tend to argue with people or avoid conflict?
Avoid conflict. It's just easier to do things once everyone understands what is going on.

Are you a listener or a talker?
Listener. I haven't spent a lot of time around people other than Brynjar, Rodin, and Godiva.

How long does it take for you to trust others?
Once, I would have said not long, back when things were easy, and the forest was all I needed. Now, things are a little different, and trust comes harder because of the events I have been through.

Do you hold grudges?
Not generally, but there's a special hatred for Redele Creos and his scheming ways.

Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Sometimes, though it tends to flip flop between myself and Rodin depending on the situation.

Do you like interacting with large groups of people?
Not particularly. i am not comfortable with the masses, and neither is Raksha.

Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Much more introverted. I'll let the social butterflies handle the people.

Personal Emotions

What makes you sad? Happy? Mad? Why?
Sad: Thinking about the fact that the Mage Tower and the surrounding forest have burned at the hands of the Orcs.
Happy: Standing on the edge of a cliff and looking over the world beyond. It makes me feel like there is always another chance to succeed, and that no matter what, nature will always prevail.
Mad: The destruction of the land, because though out my life I have been taught that there are many spirits, and each one that is destroyed has lost it's chance to live. Every spirit should be appeased, and allowed to pass peacefully and respectfully.

Do you have any biases or prejudices?
I try not to, though sometimes, based on the ways that other people act, it is difficult to keep a clear judgement. I have certainly thought poor of the Eluvians a time or two because of the way they have treated myself and my friends.

What do you think of love?
I think it is something that each person should experience, though have little faith that it lasts as long as people say.

Do you believe in self-sacrifice for the greater good?
Yes. I was ready to give my life to protect my home, and always will be.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
My ability to read others. I feel I might be a touch insensitive at times...

Personal Relationships

Who is the most important person in your life and why?
There isn't one. All of my friends are important, because each one of them has stood beside me facing death and the demise of our world.

Who is the person you respect the most? Despise the most? Why?
Respect: Terra, because she has always been there to look over me, and make sure that I follow the path of my destiny.
Despise: Eluvius, because, even though he helped to create our world, he should not seek to rule it after he has been defeated.

Goals

What are your goals?
Ultimately, I wish to keep my homeland as safe as possible, and learn more about the people I protect.

What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
Keeping my homeland safe

Where do you see yourself in five years? Ten years? Twenty years?
Five years? Still getting this continent back in order. Ten years? Maybe raising some pups or children. Twenty years? I honestly have no idea.

If you could choose, how would you want to die?
Fighting.

What is the one thing you would like to be remembered for after your death?
Saving the world.

Personal Characteristics
Physical Strengths:
Brynjar is powerfully built, much the opposite of Amara. He is strong and forceful, a willing warrior. He has endurance to match his strength and power.

Physical Weaknesses:
He is not the fastest, though what he lacks there, he makes up for in strength.

Mental Strengths:
An on your feet thinker, he thrives when the plan goes wrong, when it is necessary to think quickly and come up with a new plan on the spot. He knows the mountains well, and has a photographic memory, which makes it easy to remember places by landmarks.

Mental Weaknesses:

There has never been much technology in Bryn's life. He has seen a few gnomish contraptions through the years, but never paid them much mind.

Stealth:
Though he prefers to not sneak around, Bryn does know how to be stealthy when he needs to be, having taught himself so that he would be able to eat every night from hunting.

Secrecy:
He is secretive by nature, and does not enjoy revealing things about himself until he knows the people around him can be fully trusted.

Manipulation:
He could easily manipulate those smaller than him, if he so chose. However, despite his rough appearance, Bryn is not the kind to use this method unless absolutely necessary.

Thievery:
He has, unfortunately, needed to steal a few times in his life to keep himself alive through the rough mountain winters. He does not like to, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Piloting:
No skill.

Persuasiveness:
The same as manipulation.

History
Childhood:
Bryn's childhood was short lived. After his mother left, he roamed from nomadic tribe to nomadic tribe, never staying long with any particular one because he felt out of place among them. He learned very young that nothing is particularly fair, and that he had to take care of himself, because mama wasn't coming back. This made him grown up quicker than the average boy, but also made him more of his own man.

Teenage Years:
Just like his childhood, Bryn's teenage years were filled with time spent being more of an adult than anything else. He learned to hunt larger game, to feed groups of people properly, as he took to finding lost travelers in the mountains, and returning them to the safety of either Lo Duar or the nearby port of _insert name here_. He trained himself to be stronger and have more endurance than the average man traveling.

Adulthood:
Adulthood happened for Bryn around his 16th year, when he encountered his first brush with death. Deep in the drifts of the top of the mountain, Bryn was confronted by a large creature that he had never seen before. It attacked, leaving him stunned in the snow drifts to die. The only thing that kept him alive was Marrok, who found him and dragged him from the snow into a cave which seemed alive with warmth. This revived him, and changed him from an errant teen to an adult. He began to understand the dangers of the world and fought harder to be sure no others were lost in the mountain's deep snows.

More Details

Life
How would you describe your life overall?
It has been difficult, for sure, but worth every moment in order to learn more about myself and to grow stronger.

What is your most memorable moment?
The day I laid eyes on Amara. The fierce wildness of her captivated me and stands out in my mind.

What has been the most important event in your life?
Joining the group that Amara travels with. It felt strangely right in comparison to many of the other tribes I have joined. Their cause was noble, and drew me in.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Leaving my mountain home behind.

What is your number one regret?
Not searching harder for my mother.

When were you the most afraid?
The first night after mother left me behind. The shadows filled my mind and seemed to threaten to engulf me. I remember huddling close to Marrok the whole night, and not sleeping.

What is your greatest fear? Why?
Death. It seems so very final and absolute. There is nothing beyond the grave to look forward to.

What is the most honorable or “good” thing you’ve ever done?
I would say probably dragging myself through the snow to rescue those who were lost.

What is the most “evil” thing you have ever done?
When I was very young, I tricked another child into spending the night in a cave far from the tribal home. When I returned, I found only the remains of a child, though I will never know if it was truly the same one.

Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
Before now, the only love I carried was for my mother, even though she left me behind in the snowy mountains.

Do you have a notorious or celebrated ancestor/relative? Does that affect you?
I do not know

Do you have any secrets? If so, what are they?
I have many secrets that I will not share. Not yet, at least.

Do you tend to argue with people or avoid conflict?
I tend to argue...

Are you a listener or a talker?
A little bit of both. I do like listening to others more, however.

How long does it take for you to trust others?
Longer than it should. Why should I trust those who may just leave?

Do you hold grudges?
Yes.

Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
It all depends on the situation, really.

Do you like interacting with large groups of people?
Not at all, though I will do it if needed.

Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Introverted.

Personal Emotions

What makes you sad? Happy? Mad? Why?
Sad: Thinking of where my mother might be, and what she may be doing. I fear that she may be taken captive and forced into slavery or worse things somewhere on this continent or another
Happy: Standing in a cold wind and feeling it whisk around me. It reminds me of home, and of when I was a child.
Mad: The idea that there are those out there who wish to control the world. It is a place full of unique people who deserve their chances to do what they want to do.

Do you have any biases or prejudices?
I try not to, each being has lived in their own difficult time, and I want not to judge them unless I have been judged.

What do you think of love?
I think that it is something to empower men and give them something to fight for.

Do you believe in self-sacrifice for the greater good?
I believe there are those who would do so, but I am not one of those people.

Nothing.

Personal Relationships

Who is the most important person in your life and why?
Amara. She has shown me many new things in this world to live for and fight for.

Living.
