Day 25, Sculpture
Oh the things that I have seen
Sitting here on the front porch of this large house
Facing out into the landscape
Day in and day out I stand here watching
Business men, law men, mail men, rich men, poor men
So many people have passed me by giving me not even a glance
I just seem to be a fixture here on this lawn
The gardener cleans me sometimes when the birds use me as a bathroom
Boys down the street like to egg me for Halloween
Conversations that should never be heard have gone through my ears
I am so bored standing here
I want to travel the world and see all the sites
But I can't, I am stuck here a fixture in this lawn
