Haven't updated, I've been busy, so to who ever reads this. Lets see were to start.......Aha! The bit of tech we were working on, the teleporting thing that could send two people through to the other Earth? Well, we got that up and running, but instead of Mum and me going through, a piece of cloth was left on the floor where the device was just at.
Upon picking it up, Mum instantly recognized it as material from Dad's coat, which was given to him from a musician called Janis Joplin. Never heard of her from here, but Mum says her music was something I would like.
So, now I'm back to building the device again (which reminds me to think of a name for it) ,but with a more stable allowance of time to let us go through. Also, since this, I realized that my Mum's game plan for locating my father, when we got over, was to "Look for odd (which sounds like 'Ood' sometimes, I don't know why though) occurrence or event." For a smart lady, Mum does not think everything through....
