Cutting down
Let me hear those beautiful words.
The weak words that gave me my strength.
The ones that echo in the channels of my mind.
Swallowing me up into its depth.
Into the river of serenity.
Just let me be.
The currents are sailing me far in the land of hope.
Leave my hand alone.
Your warmth will never save me.
The warmth of my cooling tears will represent the rains of yesterday.
There is only one person in this world.
That is me.
A fool. A newborn. A heart breaker.
Lie behind my back.
Shoot all the rumors behind my heart.
Tell others how bad I am. Please.
The pain.
The wonderful, burning pain.
Leaving the scorching marks of depression.
Let me hang from the end of this rope.
Slowly swinging rhythmically to the creak of the tree branch.
Please don't find me.
I'm not here in your glorious presence.
Close those screaming eyes and walk away.
