So I'm thinking about joining one of the rape and abuse survivors guilds, so I can talk about my experience and help other people.
I think it would be a good thing because I didn't have anyone to turn to after I was raped, nor did I have anyone during the abusive relationship I was in for about a year following said rape. Anyway, I think it might help my healing process a bit to be able to talk to other people and give them the support I didn't have.
And yes, I just announced on Gaia that I'm a rape victim. Say it loud and proud...! eek
