I had freshmen awareness day today, which means I didn't have any classes! I was in a group with Sarah, Taija, Carlton, Hillary and Ariel. It was great except Ariel and Hillary are fighting.
First we went outside (in the flipping RAIN!) and went into this place where this guy from this camp-place (hahaha, it's funny talking like this, lol) and we had to play this game where two people would stand on either side of a tarp and when the tarp was brought down the first one to say the name of the person on the other side got to bring that person over to their team. Then we went around and wrote stuff on paper and learned about stereotyping. Then we went into another room and the Japanese exchange students taught us how to do oragami (it was mostly Sakiko though, lol Mari helped a little too) We made a cup and a swan (or a loon or a crane or something like that). Then we did this thing with the Spruce Run lady about healthy relationships. It was weird because I was reading one of those card thingies in a group with Sarah, Carlton, Ariel, Dustin, uh... Charles... and James, and it was weird because Carlton asked me out once in Algebra and I told him I wouldn't go out with him because I was moving. Now that I'm not moving, I wonder if he still likes me.
Then we went back inside and into the gym. We made three groups, mine was with Hillary, Sarah, Taija, Anthony, another Sarah (really really tall) and some other guys who I don't know. First we had to race across the gym while stepping on these 8 dots and not on the floor. If you did your whole team had to go back to the beginning. The first time we did it it went great. My team came in second. Then we talked about what worked and what didn't. Then we did it again. This time EVERYONE screwed up a bunch of times and we never finished. While we were doing I was crammed on a dot with Hillary and Anthony, and I didn't want to fall so I put my arms around Hillary and Anthony, and then Anthony goes: "OMG, you touched my butt!" and I'm like: "OMG, please tell me you're kidding!" But I guess I did, but it was totally on accident. I thought I had my hand on his back!
Then we stayed in the same groups and had to race another team across an obstacle course while we carried balloons, but we couldn't touch them with our hands and we had to have two people touching every balloon. Anthony came up with the idea that he should give me a piggy-back ride across the course while I had the balloon between my chest and chin and his back. It worked fine, but we had to keep running back because we had to get ALL the balloons across and I guess everyone else kept dropping the balloons. My legs were SO sore, lol And Anthony said he was sweating. Jeez, I'm not that heavy, xd Eventually no one did it right and we had to stop for lunch.
We had tacos for lunch and it was GROSS! After lunch we went into the gym for awhile and Jake had this fish he won so I grabbed it an Bobby goes: "Jake, she's touching your fish!" xd What a loser. Lol
Then we learned about the "Fish Philosophy" which was just a bunch of guys getting paid to totally goof off at work (I wanna work there, XD) and Carlton won a fish, but he gave it to the tall Sarah. (He shoulda given it to me, lol)
Then we went into the gym again and then we went home.
On the bus home Jake wrote "'Splee!' -Waffle" in my yearbook and then Danielle, the little attention sucking b***h, just HAD to have Jake put that in her yearbook, because she can't have ME being any more special than HER, but I insisted that Splee was my thing, so instead he put french toast in her's.
