A Lost Book From Peter
Greetings From Neverland
Selected journal entries of an unseen acquaintance: Part 7
The Animal/Etiquette Theory.
I have much to say on the convoluted nature of animalistic behaviour. One may say that "to be an animal", is to grasp the barbaric mindstate of a truly primitive captivation. But who is to say that we may not learn from the lessons of these very creatures which perform phenomenal acts of kindness towards their other fellow inhabitants? I have seen a video this morning about a baby duck, feeding koi fish in a pond. (Two VERY different species which have learned to co exist in peace, mind you) This blessing in disguise should be a model instructional towards our own humanistic way of life. The main question here is: "Does this not apply to the ethics of mankind along these lines?" In American society, our acceptance/rejective actions and responses, apply towards our ignorance and knowledge of anothers culture. Some may find that eating a certain type of animal or plant which is considered food in one country, may be objectified as atrocious or unorthodox behaviour towards anothers point of view. Applying the baby duck and koi idealism into our lives can really spark a definite humane approach into our character, if we just take the time to get to know the background information on the beautifully diverse world which we have come to discern and establish as our own.

Basically in a nutshell, what I'm trying to say is: "If animals can learn and adjust to coexist in peace, why can't we?"

And with that said, I leave you with this treasure...
