What's right in front of you
Why is it you can't see?
What's right in front of you?
It's me
Just waiting for you to come around
You go around blind waiting for a sign
Like nothings there and you don't care
But it hurts when you don't notice me
Don't you see?
That's it's not right for you
To do this to me
I've been waiting so patently
For a sign
Of your affection and care
So why don't you just notice me

The Sea
Looking toward the shocking yellow sun rise
Sand beneath my feet
Gazing at the golden sea
Into the sea my mind does drift
While listing to the breeze
Brings me fairy tale dreams
Time passes by, as the tide will rise
In my mind's eye the sea's king I did meet
His castle I did see
He sent me away hoping for a seaward gift
But I will tell you this, listen to the breeze
For it brings more than fairy tale dreams
I'll claim my sea voyage as a prize
