A sugar coated candy treat
With many layers underneath
Sour and sweet
The colors lie just beneath

With some time you will see what lies beneath

Life is a journey
Many turns and twists
That guides us along
Scenic routes and short cuts
The dissention is unknown
Life is a journey
And time is short
So make the best of it
Cause fate has its own plans
No passports or maps
Life is a journey
Rain or shine we move along
The friends and strangers we meet make it worthwhile
The worst of times or the best of times
The scars and bruises take time to heal
