When I first started my job, it was a welcoming place that allowed for growth.
Everyone that's been there a while has noticed a slow change.
And I hate to say it, but it's because of the people the newer bosses brought in.
Nepotism runs rampant at my workplace. For example, the boss' s God Daughter works there and is protected. One experience had me and the guy I liked singled out for talking, meanwhile the girl was doing the same thing, and the supervisor was talking to her for a half and hour, without her getting in trouble.
As for the guy I like, certain individuals began to notice increased interactions between the two of us, and began making not so nice comments. Especially the bosses God daughter.
Yesterday I ran into a mess a customer made, and suddenly I'm getting blamed for it.
I'm asking my friend to help me with my resume to try and get a new job so I can either quit or cut down to one day a week.
Some of the people there are still wonderful. But too many are like sharks looking for blood in the water. It's funny how just a couple people can alter a work environment.
