Here's what you need to know:
Roller ball- game we played in gym class. You roll the ball to the other people on your team, and try to score in the goal. Simple, no?
Erin- most popular girl in our class. Not very many people like her.
Whitney- Second most popular girl in our class. Hangs out with Erin.
Courtney- New girl from Pittsfeild. Slowly becoming popular. Not in my class though.
Cronkite- Full name: Dereck Cronkite. Short boy, on my team during roller ball.
Danielle- My best friend. Doesn't share gym class with me.
Coty- Whitney's boyfriend.
Bussey- Full name: Justin Bussey. Also in my class.

Okay, using that information, listen to this.

After a nice, yet tough, game of roller ball, Erin, Whitney, me, and one of my friends (Jessie, not important to the story though) went into the locker room. Immediately, Erin had to vent on today's game. She said some things, though I didn't listen, and then she said, "And Becca (me, in case you're wondering) only passed the ball to Cronkite."

"No I didn't!" I said.

"I think she has a crush on him!" she continued.

"I SO don't have a crush on him!" I said. "He's too short for me." Everyone laughed.

"Well, I'm dating a guy who's 6 feet taller than I am," Whitney said. "Coty."

"Danielle likes Coty and Bussey," Erin said.

I know it's wrong to betray my friends, but I had to say something. "And she likes Cronkite too."

They talked some more, about guys I guess, then Erin and Jessie left the locker room. So Whitney talke to me. Now, this is strange, since usually I'm no more than a piece of dirt to her.

"Don't worry about Erin," she whispered. "She's a b***h."

I was surprised she had said that, being one of Erin's best friends. She went on. "You know that new girl, Courtney?"

"Yeah."

"Well, me, (she mentioned some other girls, though I forgot their names) and Courtney were having a pizza party, that's why I was late for gym class."

I nodded.

"Well, Erin goes up to Courtney and says, 'Don't hang out with them, they're not the people I hang out with'."

I was shocked. That didn't seem like something Erin would say. But she can be pretty mean sometimes.

Well, I know that must seem un-important to everyone else, but it's just something I had to write down. Oh, BTW, I do have a little crush on Cronkite. Emphasis on the word, 'little'.

Ugh, we have Science next. Mrs. Bowden is the most BORINGEST teacher in. The. World. Ha. Ha. Ha. ... I've lost it. xd Anyways, we're doing a thing on energy. Danielle and I both have Geothermal, so we're kinda working together. We have to do something special with our report. I might just do a poster. I think Danielle is using the over-head projector.

Hmm... I was gonna say something. This happens to me a lot.

I'm pondering on whether or not to tell Danielle about what they said in gym class (in my story at the beginning). She might want me to tell her if someone's talking about her, but she might be like me and not want to think about what people say about her, and rather just not hear it at all. I know I'm her friend and I should know what she would want me to do, but it's so weird. On the phone she was telling me about what Liz and Tiffany say about me, and I didn't know whether or not to bring up the locker room thing. I told her about one day when she was absent, and Liz asked me where she was, and I said I didn't know, and Tiffany said who cares. But I just don't know.
