That was the only word Kiaravell could use to describe the time she spent with these people. They fed her, yes, but they'd tainted the blood. With what, Kiaravell wasn't sure... but she had a sinking feeling it was human's blood. Even if she were to refuse, eventually the bloodhunger would change her mind. It was their way of controlling her. Making sure she was too weak to do anything, yet kept alive for when she was ready to be sold. She was helpless.
