.....OMG.....I just read PART of the book wicked it ******** freaked me out! this is really gross but the widow and her daughter had sex with a guy who had a make organ as we say on the front like normal and on the end of his spine...this dragon the "time dragon" picks peopleout of the audience and tells all the thing they have done wrong...and then the whole town turns against them. But the dad of Elphaba is a good guy he calms people about crisis's in the city of Oz and he left but the wife was so alone this wierd traveling guy drugged her and took advantage of her by "green elixer" and the baby came out a natural green.it bit off the nurses thumb off it had sharp teeth and claws and eventually bit most of it's skin on it's arm off that happend when they forgot the mussel...and the tapearound her claws...later elphaba got a sister and stuff. but Elphaba was born evil but..if she had not been treated like an animal when she was an adult becuase her skin color...meanwhile her "best friend" I think Galinda..who is the good witch is stuck up and popular and think she is the center of the universe. So it depends who you think is evil...Elphaba for being misunderstood and being a bad witch but becuase she was hurt or Galinda for being a so called "good" witch and being stuck up. The whole thing with wicked is a whole lot had before dorthy. And anyways, This wierd guy who drugged the mother was a traveling sales men and they described him with fat legs and arms and a very skinny body....wierd..well..I had to stop reading it on account of it was giving me strange dreams and disturbed me quite a bit..
