The Waiter
Run to me, for I am death.
I am everything that you've ever wanted,
that you have sought to give you meaning,
and you have pursued me every day.
If you think back as far as you can,
I assure you that you have chased me throughout it all.
"Why?"
The answer to that is simple:
I am your end.

You fought long.
You fought hard.
But, all things come to an end.
So must you.
I've been waiting for you.
The pleasure is all mine
as you fill my cup with your blood as my wine.
Yes, you started strong.
But, I am stronger.
You have long called out to me.
The urge to be free.
But, don't worry.
I have a place just for you.
As I accept anyone
that chooses to be on their knees.
