"Ashamed"
"You should be ashamed."
How many times have I heard this?
Too many.
All the profanity
comes with the insanity.
But, the question is,
"Why should I be ashamed?"
I once put myself in place
because they could not stand to see my face.
But, they still complain.
I do the opposite,
but I end up crying like a running faucet.
In the end,
I will never feel the power from this never-ending cycle.
I am no winner,
but I am not a sinner.
I am not a sinner like them
who grab and rip me by the hem.
This is one poor game of tug-of-war,
which asks for more.
