She took a quiet deep breath, sorting out her thoughts properly before she began.
"At the moment, I am a true blood vampire. But... I wasn't always. I was born as a fox demon, raised in a den of five, living like a proper fox should, I suppose." She sat down on the branch, one leg drawn up to her chest, the other swinging below her lazily. "Poachers found our den, and sold us to diffrent buyers, thinkiung us to be normal foxes. I was... five at this time. I escaped from my owner, who was nothing more than an old man lost in his money who had nothing better to do than spoil his daughter. I was a present, you see. For her 18th birthday. But, she forgot to cage me properly one night, and I climbed out the window, damaging my leg in the fall. I ran to the forest, damaging my leg all the more in the process, and was found by a hermit, my first true master. He realized I was a demon, and taught me to change sdhape, talk, walk on two legs... all the like. But, when I was ten, he was killed. I knew the killer. He had been wanting my master to move so he could destroy the forest for lumber." She looked out over the lake beneath her, eyes half closed in memory. "I... went, and killed the man, while he was sleeping. But I was caught. They did not beleive me when I said he killed my master. No one truely knew my master existed. They had forgotten him... I was charged with murder and sentenced to death. A soldier came into the cell that night, to ... show me pleasure before I died, that I may not die a virgin. But a man suddenly appeared... my second master. He froze time and spoke to me, asking me what I wanted. I asked that he would change me, that I may be strong, and never have to let someone die again. He did, changed me completely. He switched my blood to make me a full blooded vampire... I found out later that to be changed that way is either an insult... or an honor." She laughed slightly, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "But I was greatful. I killed the soldier and escaped with him, and he taught me the ways of the vampire... then, when I was 18, he simply dissapeared. I searched for him, but I have never found him... in my travels, I met (______), and he taught me how to use the sword to perfection. I have traveled much since then, met many, killed many... seen many die..." She smiled, looking over to him. "Apparently, my power is not enough to save the ones I care for..." she mused quietly, eyes glazed and dim. "I don't think it ever will be..."
