Jay was a particularly clever as a child. It took him only a minute then other kids in his classes to work out the math problem on the board . Because of his fierce look, people often mistook him as a thug. Because people were afraid of his look despite that he had no ill-intention at all,. He lives in a fatherless family with just his mother and Older brother, due to this, Jay has learned to be self-sufficient.His dad, who was apparently a delinquent, abandoned the them, leaving his mother to raise him and his brother by herself. He dreamed of becoming a professional Football player .had close relationship with his older brother Charlie. However, one night Charlie die after driving under the influence which hurt Jay greatly. In his old school Jay was a star player on the football as defenseman due to his aggressiveness. However, Jay was eventually kicked off the football team, during a game when a player on the opposing team made a comment about his brother, then Jay attacked and started a fight with him, which recorded and uploaded on YouTube by the people attending the game. This made some trouble for him and his mother. Jay and his Mother are moving to New York to start a fresh start
Jay was Assisting with the working on a solar energy project when an accident happened During the events of Justice League: Doom and resulting on giving him Superpowers Powers:
● Flight:He can super heat the air around him to create powerful thermal updrafts that lift him into the air.
●Fire Shield: He can surround himself with an aura of protective flames to deflect physical attacks.[1]
● Rapid Healing (heals from injuries very fast - depending on severity of injury can take from a few hours to few days for severe injury)
● Super Strength (can lift up to 75 tons without strain - 100 tons max)
● Pyrokinesis :Can generates high-energy plasma that bursts into flame when exposed to oxygen.
● Plasma Energy Blasts: He can direct his flames into searing thermal energy blasts (He can enhance the heat of his Energy Blasts to higher levels to match that of a supernova, )
● Weaknesses: Magic and certain type of energy blasts can harm him. Someone with similar or greater strength can also knock him raround rather well.
