Images not showing up are because of Photobucket's change in "business model."

They want user to pay 400$ to be able to share our photos across the web using their site. Prior to this change in policy (which took me 2-3 pages reloads to be able to read because the entire page was covered in pop-ups and built-in ads, obscuring the text) Photobucket was a site used by MANY people to share, store and edit photos, pictures, banners, etc to share in forums, blogs on websites.

They "offer" two lower tier price ranges but the hotlinking which everyone uses the site for is at the top tier.

The change was implemented days before notice was given, and days before the ability to pay was given to those who are willing and able to foot that bill.

I really hope that the impact that the change in their user base and reputation from this will convince them that this was an error and rethink how they move forward. Maybe something like restoring the prior services and using the pay system for new features, advanced controls, something of the like.

Some people can pay. A lot people are willing to pay for a good service, more for a great service.

Having gone through this with Foopets, I am PISSED but hopeful that it is possible for them to make it up to their base.
