As a fanboy of Groove Adventure Rave, I have always liked the concept of the day time intersects. In the manga, this refers to the day wherein significant events happen. Same day, same month, different years.
In my life, aside from other notable dates, I've always thought that March 28 was my day that time intersects. Although it is not as significant as the manga, it is significant for me due to two major events: my elementary and high school graduation. Both events, coincidentally, fell on the same day. A 4-year difference, but still. I also liked to think, because I am not actually sure, that my prep school graduation also happened on the same date.
On this day, two big transitions happened, moving on to different stages in my life.
A lot has happened since then. A lot of death. Tons of transitions. Insane roller coasters of emotions. New experiences.
Have I changed for the better? Can't say I did, but yes, I improved on some of my flaws.
Have I changed for the worse? Parts of me did I think.
And some have remained the same. The fact that I am writing this now is an indication I think.
As I am undergoing another major transition now, and approaching another decade of my life, I am really hoping that things would change for the better. Or at least, I will be a confidently better version of who I was yesterday and the phases before.
Here's to hoping that the next intersection of time, a new better phase begins. No quarantine, no lockdown, manageable problems and a perfect, imperfect life.
