Yesterday was Easter. gaia_bunny
I had planned to do absolutely nothing, seeing how I had only gotten 3 hours of sleep the day before. First, I got a few texts from my dad, which if you know me, you know that's a pretty big deal. He made a couple Dad jokes about not having corona YET and that I was welcome to join him and my family for Easter because they're going to grill some stuff up. I declined saying that I am practicing social distancing. I would have loved to spend the day with them!
Then my friend from work texted me, she asked when I would like to come pick up some food that she grabbed for me. She had a training class for her job that had been canceled and they had ALOT of food that was about to go to waste so they let everyone take stuff home, so she thought of me and grabbed some things! I was thinking to myself "Ok..i only got 3 hours of sleep but i also have a baja blast in the fridge, yea i think i'll be ok to go grab that stuff and then come home"..
So I fashioned myself a homemade mask made out of socks, I only did that because my friend has a breathing issue so it was for her sake, not mine. When I got to her house, I tried to stay 6ft from her the whole time. She helped carry stuff out to my car and she stood on one side while I was on the other. We ended up talking for about 30 minutes before I left to go home. But it was super nice to see her on Easter and to catch up. HUMAN INTERACTION! DON'T COME FOR ME!
